Since 2019, Sulava has supported organisations across the Middle East and Africa (MEA), with a strong presence in the United Arab Emirates. Our work has included large-scale cloud migrations, the adoption of modern productivity tools – especially Microsoft 365 Copilot – tailored for the AI era, foundational AI upskilling for diverse workforces, and major security transformations for both private and public sector clients.
In recent years, our focus in the MEA area has shifted to Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI-for-All skilling. Sulava Gulf has become one of the leading partners in the region for organisations adopting M365 Copilot and building AI-native capabilities at scale. These efforts reflect the region’s ambition to lead in global AI adoption and the readiness of our customers to embrace this future.
To harness this momentum, Aki Antman has chosen to focus on the region’s growing opportunities and has acquired Sulava Gulf, which will continue to operate independently under the Sulava brand. Aki, Sulava’s founder and a key figure in The Digital Neighborhood, will now dedicate his time fully to growing Sulava Gulf’s impact across the MEA region.
We want to thank Aki for his exceptional contribution. He has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of work through pioneering AI and Copilot solutions. His leadership has helped accelerate Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption and AI-native transformation for customers throughout The Digital Neighborhood. We also want to warmly thank all the people who have worked at Sulava Gulf during the years, systematically building our success.
This acquire reflects both Aki’s personal ambition to pursue the significant opportunities in the Middle East and Africa, and The Digital Neighborhood’s strategic commitment to maintaining a sharp focus on Northern Europe by building the region’s fastest-growing tech movement.
Sulava Oy, which remains part of The Digital Neighborhood, will continue to deliver for example agentic AI and Copilot solutions in Europe, while Sulava Gulf will do the same across the MEA region – driving innovation, building skills at scale and supporting organisations to lead in the AI era.
We wish Aki and his team continued success and look forward to working together as we help shape an AI-native future across regions.
