Indutrade adopted Office 365 with Sulava’s implementation already in 2014. For Indutrade’s group model, Office 365 has proven to be the right choice, and new functionalities have been taken into use over the years as ways of working have evolved. The Office 365 rollout within the group was done under IT leadership — the IT department adopted the service themselves and set an example for others.

Two years after the Office 365 implementation, Indutrade and Sulava signed an Advisory Service agreement. A key part of this agreement at Indutrade has been the Trusted Advisor service provided by Sulava.

The Trusted Advisor acts as the customer’s primary contact for small development projects and prepares the annual service review meetings. In addition to the Trusted Advisor service, Kaijanen highlights the annual service review concept as one of the major benefits of the Advisory Service agreement.
Our Advisory Service annual maintenance concept typically includes 1–4 annual reviews in which, together with the customer, we examine which new features or functionalities should be adopted into the customer’s environment. As experience grew, the concept was adapted to better suit Indutrade, shifting from four longer annual reviews to monthly one hour quick reviews. This has helped Indutrade take new functionalities and services into use even faster.

During spring 2018, Indutrade adopted, among other new features, multi factor authentication and replaced the Yammer discussion platform with Teams collaboration workspaces.
“MFA – multi factor authentication has already been taken into use, first within the IT department, followed immediately by management and finance. Based on the consultant’s recommendation, we rolled out multi factor authentication first to the people most critical to the company.”
Indutrade adopted Teams workspaces at the beginning of the summer, and it quickly replaced Yammer as the company’s communication channel across all subsidiaries.
Use of the Advisory Services Service Desk-services has decreased at Indutrade thanks to the Trusted Advisor service. Small development projects and problem situations have been resolved under the guidance of the skilled Trusted Advisor consultant.
